The 2021 Volkswagen polo facelift unveiled on wednesday. Launch of the car was scheduled for today, but since the car was leaked online before the launch, Volkswagen had to unveil the car earlier.
Exterior of the car gets new changes including redesigned front grille, new lighting setup where headlamps can be equipped with the IQ.LIGHT matrix joined together by a illuminated strip that runs along the front, integrated LED DRLs, redesigned rear bumper and boot lid.
On the inside the 2021 Polo features a new steering wheel, new 8-inch instrument cluster as standard and a bigger 10.25-inch display for the top-spec variant. The infotainment system can be had with a 6.5, 8.0 or 9.2-inch touchscreen having We Connect, We Connect Plus, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2021 Volswagen Polo continues to be powered by the same engine options including a 1.0 litre MPI putting out 79hp mated to 5-speed MT, a 1.0 litre TSI making 94hp can be had with either 5-speed MT or 7-speed DSG and a more powerful TSI engine producing 109hp which can be had with 7-speed DSG.
safety features of the car include semi-autonomous driving, adaptive cruise control with the frontal monitoring system, lane keep assist, park assist and fatigue detection system at the wheel.
The 2021 Volkswagen Polo facelift will be offered in four new colours namely Ascot Gray, Kings Red, Vibrant Violet and Rauchgrau.
Polo is still running on fifth-generation in India, update of the hatchback is also not expected anytime soon.
