Car Prices To Increase Again From April 2021

  • Price to go up due to increase in their input costs
  • Maruti Suzuki to hike their prices from 1-6 percent
  • Ford to increase their prices by 3 percent

Car prices to be hiked by the car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Ford, Toyota etc, with the rising input costs and will be starting from April 2021. Earlier the price hike happened during January 2021 where most of the carmakers raised their ex-showroom prices.

Maruti Suzuki to increase their prices from about 1-6 percent of their ex-showroom price which would range between Rs. 5000-34,000 depending on car chosen.

MG Hector and Hector Plus price has been increased ranging from Rs. 28,000-43,000 depending on the variant.

Ford India has announced a price hike for all its models up to 3 percent. Currently there are five models on sale by Ford in India Freestyle, Aspire, Figo, EcoSport and Endeavour.

Toyota is also said to increase their costs while the exact amount has not been revealed. Toyota’s current line-up include Urban Cruiser, Yaris, Glanza, camry, Fortuner, Innova Crysta and Vellfire.

Other than that carmakers like Nissan, Datsun and Renault will also increase their prices, while the exact percent of increment has not been revealed yet.
