Hyundai Alcazar Launched At Rs. 16.30 Lakhs

Hyundai has launched the most awaited Alcazar today at an introductory price of Rs. 16.30 lakhs for the petrol and the diesel version is priced from Rs. 16.53 lakhs (Both prices ex-showroom, India).

Hyundai Alcazar – Exterior

The Hyundai Alcazar will be the longer version of the popular Hyundai Creta with some design changes of course, the Alcazar is 150mm longer than that of Creta having a wheelbase of 2,760mm. On the outside it gets a new grille, an updated front bumper, a notable rear quarter glass and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

Alcazar comes in three main variants namely – Prestige, Platinum and Signature. They can be had in six exterior colour schemes – Taiga Brown, Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Titan Grey, Phantom Black and Starry Night along with white and grey dual-tone options.

Hyundai Alcazar – Interior & Features

With the longer wheelbase Alcazar gets an additional row of seats where the middle row can be had with either a 6-seat or 7-seat options. The 6-seat version will get captain seats (middle row) along with a floor mounted central arm-rest having cupholders, storage space and a wireless charging pad whereas the 7-seat version get bench seats on the middle row.

The car is also packed with good number of features including a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Hyundai’s connected car tech, a lane change camera, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control and what not.

Hyundai Alcazar – Engine & Powertrain

The all new Alcazar can be had in two engine options, a petrol 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 159hp and 192Nm of torque, which is an updated and more powerful version of the Hyundai Elantra and Tucson. Next is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine same as creta which produces 115hp and 250Nm of torque.

Both the engines are mated either to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Other than that it gets multiple drive modes such as Comfort, Eco and Sport.
