Both the motorcycles are priced under Rs. 7 lakhs (ex-showroom) where the Trident 660 is priced Rs. 77,000 more than the Z650 and yeah you get the inline-triple for that extra money.

Triumph Trident 660 VS Kawasaki Z650 – Engine

The Triumph Trident 660 comes with the 660cc, inline-triple that makes 81hp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6,250rpm, bike comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox having bi-directional quickshifter as an accessory.

Whereas the Kawaski Z650 runs on a 649cc parallel-twin cylinder engine making 68hp at 8,000rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,700rpm mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Z650 has less power when comparitively but has same torque figure as the Trident 660.

Talking about features Trident has got digital instrument cluster equipped with a Bluetooth module, turn-by-turn navigation, GoPro control, phone and music control, all LED lighting, two riding modes (Rain & Road), traction control which can be turned off and much more.

The Z650 gets a 5-inch TFT display having smartphone connectivity which can be connected to your phone via the Rideology app, LED headlamp and Tail-light. It misses out the navigation system as in the Trident.
